There are so many different Social network sites to post to, so here is  Technorati Technorati Profile and I am hoping that twitter will pick this up also twitter

Have to laugh, because these guys really can make those of us who design web sites look good… :- )

I am not sure about you but I know it has happened to me, where a client send me a forward from a friend of theirs saying, “What happened to your web site!”.

It is hard enough at times to put everything in its place dynamically every time, but then throw in a new browser or older version and whalaa… you are missing half your page, the menu is missing.

I understand that you can not keep up with all of the new browsers and for the most part from the stats I am seeing, IE is still #1 with over 80% of the visitations to my sites, but the other browsers are gaining popularity.

So if you dare ask yourself, I wonder what this page looks like when you use I.E. 5.5 check out this group. They actually can post a snap shot of a page using 1 or all 17+ browsers for Linux, Windows, Mac and BSD… http://browsershots.org/

I was using the SitemapDoc – Web Site Maps API I talk about in the http://webbit.us/site_tools.php page. it kept on throwing errors so I decided to create my own sitemap and submit it to Google. after a couple of attempts and getting failure notices I decided to use the Google Site Map Validation Tool.

This one worked great. It isolates the specific problem per line entry and tells you what to do to fix it.

Very cool. With over 400 links I was able to find the missing “<” or “0″ in the code within just a couple of minutes.

If you do your own Site Maps, I highly recommend this tools….

It will save you time and probably some frustration.
