Please take a few minutes to look at the information provided through the following blog:
Former intelligence officer Daniel Ellsberg, the whistleblower who in the early 1970s released the Pentagon Papers, has spoken out against the Senate’s version of FISA reform and warrantless wiretapping. Over the last several years I believe I have become like many of us, here in the U.S.
I have found that my voice really has little effect on the out come of really any issue that our state or nation is concerned with.
I guess the reason then for this post is to indicate a shift in my activities, where now I think we all need to start voicing our concerns to the matters affecting us.
I talked about the FISA bill (above) and am discouraged by the lack of concern I found in the speeches from our Senators and the acknowledgment from my friends that seem to think that It is more important to protect the U.S. by using illegal wire taping than our elected and appointed official protecting the very first thing they promised to do, which is to protect and defend the United States Constitution.
