Firefox Update to 3.0.1 – Security Certificate changes

I have used FireFox as my main browser now for several years as I believe most IT people (using a PC) do. Today I updated FireFox and found when trying to login to a secure area within my server that I was now facing a new screen, “Secure Connection Failed”.

After some quick searches I found that this is the talk of the IT community.

Although the new update does present an initial question in anyone’s mind as to the Security  of the connection, in my case nothing has changed and certainly the security of the connection has not diminished since the upgrade was made.

I have put together a short video to help anyone through the steps on how to implement/add web site pages to the certificate area so that you do not always have to see the above screen. The link to the video is just above.
